Processing time:
Once you have placed your order through our online store you will immediately enter the queue for the distribution team to package up and prepare your items for the courier to collect.

Orders placed before 1pm - We will aim to have these packaged up and collected by the courier the same day, however, this is not guaranteed and it may go the following morning.

Orders placed after 1pm - Will be collected by the courier the following morning, if you order after 2pm on Friday or anytime in the weekend then you can expect your package to be collected by the courier Monday morning.

We are proud of our courier service and can happily say most NZ deliveries are typically 2 - 3 business days, however, if you are rural then please be patient and allow for an additional day for the driver to reach you.

So easy to use!

Well I have my first load of compost cooking in the green chamber. I have high hopes.
Assembly took some figuring out but we did it.
I like that it's vermin-proof, fun to mix by tumbling the chamber, easy to access and to off-load the completed compost.

Value for money

I wanted a way to make use of my food scraps but did not want a large compost bin. I have had composters that don't spin and found them harder to manage. The two colors for the doors make it easy to make sure the scraps go into the same barrel until it is full. I intend to swap the doors so the one accepting the waste is always the green one, while the orange one does the cooking. The barrels spin easily so each time I add to it I give it a couple of spins. I've only had it a couple of weeks, so I can't report on the quality of the compost, but I can say that it was reasonably easy to put it together. The instructions could have been better, but I managed. It took about an hour from unpacking to placing it into position. It needs to be kept out of direct sunlight which limited where I could put it on my small section. I wanted it close to the house because I use a wheelchair, so it is on a path that I don't use often, which is not ideal because of course it has drainage holes, so I will need to put something under it to stop the tiles from being stained, but that is a minor issue. I am happy with it.

Great product - Great price

I’d been looking for a tumbling compost for a month or so. Lots of the usual retailers had similar bins for over twice the price, with pretty average reviews. I was happy to find herbal house had what I was looking for and offered free shipping. The product arrived in a reasonable timeframe and once constructed (slightly time consuming but overall easy to follow instructions and minimal hassle) bit was as described, turns smoothly and has easy slide doors in each barrel. I have already recommended this product to others.
