A Grow light shade for indoor growing can be used with various types of light bulbs. Growing shades with reflective surfaces help to deflect the light produced from your indoor grow lights.
Also sometimes known as a Grow light reflector hood, the use of indoor grow shade can also help protect your bulb and/or include a plug to connect to a ballast. Instead of losing light to the void above your bulb, light is instead bounced back or angled downwards in different directions.
