Every cheap carbon filter I've bought has been a pain in the ass due to it not having rings to hang it on. This however is big and has rings let's go
This carbon filter has taken that unwanted odour smell out of the air completely. Definately would recommend for up to 2x3 room, any bigger maybe upgrade to two exhausting systems with two of these carbon filters. Too late to upload photo, installed in difficult attic space.

Fitted this to the ceiling space intake of my Smart Vent (HRV) home ventilation system. So far it is doing a great job filtering out the toxic sewage stench blowing over Christchurch from the burnt out sewage treatment plant. I had tried upgrading the system's box filter to one with carbon layer for odour removal, but the carbon layer is just a thin carbon impregnated foam that was no match for the noxious Christchurch air. Had to turn off the ventilation to stop the nasty smell being pumped into the house. This carbon filter is not only real carbon pellets, but is also significantly thicker layer and larger surface area of the cylinder allowing for effective absorbtion of the smell. Airflow does not seem restricted in any noticeable way. Hopefully it lasts the 7 months the council says it will take to them to clear out and dump the toxic waste. Also works well to eliminate any slight smoke smells being sucked in from the neighbour's smoky chimneys, so will be great over the winter. Also the washable prefilter should help your box F7/HEPA filter last longer. Make sure you give the filter a good blow through before connecting to blow through any excess carbon dust created from friction of the pellets during shipping. Well worth installing.
