We can’t overstate the importance of good lighting in any hydroponics set up. Without the required light spectrum, there’s no photosynthesis, and without photosynthesis, there is no healthy plant growth. In fact, there’s no growth at all. It’s vital you get the lighting right, and we can help you choose the best indoor hydroponic grow light for your requirements.
When used in low light conditions and grow tents alike, our indoor growing lights emit a light spectrum similar to that of natural sunlight. This is the sort of light you need for plant photosynthesis and the healthy growth of your plants at all stages. A good example is High-Pressure Sodium (HPS) lighting. HPS lighting spreads light in all directions, mimicking ideal outdoor growing conditions where plants receive sunlight from all angles. Longer lasting than incandescent bulbs, HPS hydroponic lights are available in different wattages. The higher the wattage, the wider the spread of light coverage.
HPS indoor grow lights do generate heat so they need adequate ventilation and/or air extraction systems in place. Electrical ballasts are used to regulate currents in our HPS grow lights and ensure a clean and pure power feed that keeps your lights well fed.
