I discovered this compact temperature and humidity monitor during a web search. It has the exact features that I want. It is small, well-built, and it "just works". A user-friendly device. Highly recommended. Excellent prompt service from Herbal House (which I had not heard of before, as I have no interest in hydroponics)

Put it on the shelf - its great to know the temperature as well if the house is a bit damp, with the humidity indicator, and you need to open the place up.
Great little monitor with nice clear display
Yes it's made in China , but the similarities end there. Looks and feels just as a well made product should feel and with great clarity and bold lettering from the screen. All adjustments are performed from the back through crisp finger touch micro switches . The back conceals a pop out leg panel for self support it that is what you prefer, personally I use a self adhesive plastic hook that is attached to either the wall of your tent ,or any part of it that will allow you to attach the hook directly onto so you can easily pop on or lift off your meter thus lessening any chance of it being knocked over and risking damage to the electronics. Where you actually mount your meter deserves some consideration too , I chose to mount mine at mid canopy height simply because that area is usually where you will first notice any detrimental conditions starting that will decrease any potential yield from your crop due to humidity or moisture so it's my early warning point to monitor. I the short time I have used my meter I have found it to be consistently accurate in both humidity and temperature variations as I am sure you will too. Buying from this company gives me the confidence to continue doing that simply because their dedication comes as part of their guarantee to you and that is money in your pocket.
